Welcome!

Hi, I’m Maggie — the owner of Happy Apple Art LLC.

My artist story began when I was a young girl. I’ve always believed creativity finds us in the most unique ways. Whether I was cooking with my grandmother, drawing my dream treehouse, navigating friendships, or even rearranging my bedroom, creativity was always weaving its way into my everyday life.

I attended college in Rhode Island, about an hour from my hometown, and those four years deeply shaped the artist I am today. I’m incredibly grateful for the teachers and peers who helped me grow in confidence and inspired me to explore without limits.

During school, I experimented with a wide range of mediums — sketching, painting, sculpture, sewing, ceramics, photography, and film. People often ask me what my favorite type of art is. The truth? It’s always changing. I’m not someone who sticks to one interest or one technique forever. Like me, my art is constantly evolving. It shifts with the seasons, my mood, my passions, my focus, and my surroundings.

And that’s what I love most about creativity — it isn’t always about perfectly drawing a bird. It’s about knowing yourself and expressing what’s inside.

Since finishing art school, I’ve felt a strong pull toward teaching children how to find their own creative voices. My mission with Happy Apple Art is to provide kids with an inspiring environment, an uplifting spirit, and the confidence to see and celebrate their own unique expression.

Because creativity isn’t something reserved for a few — it belongs to all of us.
